We take great care in shipping your premium audiophile vinyl to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. All orders are shipped from Stockfisch Schallplatten Germany to our offices in Pretoria with secure, professional packaging.

Shipping Within South Africa

Our dealers will ship to all provinces in South Africa.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • Destination province and city
  • Number of items ordered
  • Total weight of shipment
  • Shipping method selected (standard or express)

Shipping costs will be confirmed when we contact you after your preorder submission. We strive to provide competitive rates while ensuring your vinyl arrives safely.

Delivery Times

International Shipping from Germany: 2-4 weeks

Domestic Shipping (Within SA): 3-7 business days after arrival and processing in South Africa

Total Estimated Time: 3-5 weeks from order confirmation

Please note that these are estimated timeframes. Customs processing, public holidays, and other factors may affect delivery times. We will keep you informed throughout the shipping process.

Packaging

Your audiophile vinyl records are valuable investments, and we package them accordingly:

  • Record mailers: Sturdy, crush-resistant cardboard mailers designed specifically for vinyl
  • Corner protection: Cardboard corner protectors prevent damage to album jackets
  • Bubble wrap: Additional cushioning for extra protection
  • Outer box: For multiple items, an outer shipping box with padding
  • Weather protection: Waterproof outer wrapping when needed

Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy, your dealer will assist you.

Return Eligibility

You may return items that meet the following criteria:

  • Timeframe: Within 14 days of receiving your order
  • Condition: Unopened and in original packaging (shrink wrap intact)
  • Proof of Purchase: Original receipt or order confirmation
  • Completeness: All items, inserts, and packaging materials included

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item:

  1. Contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) at info@sfrecords.co.za
  2. Provide photos of the damage (packaging and vinyl)
  3. Describe the defect (warping, scratches, skipping, etc.)
  4. Include your order number and delivery date

We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.

How to Return an Item

  1. Contact your dealer first: The dealer will assist you.
  2. Await confirmation: We will provide return instructions and a return authorisation number
  3. Pack securely: Use the original packaging if possible. Ensure the item is well-protected
  4. Ship the item: Use a tracked shipping service and keep your receipt
  5. Await processing: Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund

Important: Do not return items without contacting your dealer first. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted or refunded.

Refund Processing

Refund procedures are deciated by your dealer. Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • Inspection: 2-3 business days to verify condition
  • Approval: Email notification of refund approval or denial
  • Processing: 7-10 business days for refund to appear in your account
  • Method: Refund issued to original payment method

Note: Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the item you want.
